1. Summercamp Hotel – Oak Bluffs

During the winter of 2015-16, Lark Hotels reimagined an iconic seasonal Oak Bluffs hotel into a summer retreat designed for guests to recapture the glory days of childhood. Summercamp harkens back to long, lazy days of exploration and wonder, of play and interaction — all in very adult comfort and style, inviting guests to be a kid again at the whimsically renovated New England getaway! Summercamp’s interior design is a key part of the guest experience — fun, nostalgic and retro-chic, yet distinctly at home on “The Vineyard.” Think vintage games in the function room, bold colors and geometric shapes, rope swings and bows and arrows as design elements, dragonflies and fireflies on fabrics. The reimagined Martha’s Vineyard boutique hotel is a nod to the past with an eye to the future. Gaze at the harbor from your deck chair, grab a snack from the Camp Cantina, or play ping pong or Twister in the game room. With hotel accommodations for every lifestyle and budget — 16 different room types, from the spacious Lark Suite to a room with bunk beds — Summercamp is THE place for fun and relaxation on this magical island. Nightly double occupancy rates at Summercamp range from $149-$509, depending on room chosen and season of travel.  From plush beds, to iPads, to porches featuring expansive harbor views, Summercamp provides all the amenities guests desire and more.

2. The Sydney – Edgartown

The Sydney is a small, but distinctive fixture in central Edgartown — a magnificent Victorian home built in 1892 by Captain Charles W. Fisher, with an intact lawn and lovely architectural details.  It’s chic, petite and perfectly located.  While respecting the history of the space, Robin’s Nest designers incorporated chic textiles with classic New England influences, as well as bold tones of pink, apple green and blue. Modern furniture melds with original wood flooring, molding and wainscoting to blend the old with the new. Eight chic and newly remodeled guestrooms have a stylish vibe and charm all their own. Hardwood floors, high ceilings, chandeliers, and intricate crown molding are just a few of the characteristics that make The Sydney’s rooms irresistible. The Sydney occupies the second and third floors of the former captain’s home, while the first floor houses l’etoile, one of the island’s most acclaimed restaurants.  Chef-owned and operated, l’etoile offers an inventive, seasonally driven menu that may be enjoyed in the vibrant, casually elegant dining rooms or in the tented outdoor garden patio in the warmer months. The restaurant’s martini and wine bar is a stylishly intimate popular destination for cocktails or wine before or after dinner. Rates at The Sydney are from $249 to $549, depending on the room type and season of visit.

3. The Christopher – Edgartown

It’s an island vibe you’ll find at The Christopher… and not just the Massachusetts coastal islands! Blending the casual chic of the French Caribbean with the New England charm of Martha’s Vineyard, The Christopher’s bright, “The Vineyard meets St. Barts” feel makes it the ideal, casually sophisticated escape from life on the mainland. Batik prints and rattan furnishings mix with locally made pottery, handmade African baskets, and area photography. Breezy and tropical in feel, yet distinctly New England; modern, yet warm, welcoming and textured. Guests can’t help but relax and enjoy themselves amidst the stylishly laid-back design. Gather with friends in The Christopher’s designer guest lounge or enjoy a cold drink in our secluded back courtyard. With a BYOB evening mixer bar and flickering fire pit, this special space livens things up on spring, summer, and fall nights. Edgartown Harbor, the shops and galleries of Main and Water streets, and world-class restaurants are just outside our front door. The Christopher offers 15 bright, newly remodeled, modern accommodations. Guest rooms feature plush beds and modern amenities, such as USB ports and Apple TV. Some even feature private balconies. Hardwood floors, high ceilings, chandeliers, and intricate crown molding are just a few of the characteristics that make our rooms irresistible. Nightly double occupancy rates at The Christopher range from $269-$589, depending on room chosen and season of travel. From luxury linens to iPads and Tivoli Bluetooth radios in every room, The Christopher provides everything you’d  need and more.
